丰盛港警区主任职权交接‧韩卡莫哈末走马上任

丰盛港警方举行警区主任职权交接仪式，来自新山的韩卡莫哈末接替被调往武吉阿曼警察总部任职的朱基菲里，走马上任丰盛港警区主任一职。

两人的职权交接仪式，由柔佛州警察总部行政主任旺莫雅沙苏丁见证。

出席的警官包括丰盛港警区副主任罗伟忠、政治部主任阿沙哈、交通主任阿敏等。

朱基菲里出任丰盛港警区主任职共20个月，他过后將被往武吉阿曼警察总部服务。

他致词时感谢该警区內同僚的配合，才能让他顺利执行职责及履行警队的任务。

韩卡莫哈末致词时，希望该警区各部门警官配合， 设法降低区內的罪案率，不负民眾的期望。

旺莫雅沙苏丁致词时，促请丰盛港警区各级警官及警员与时並进，调整及改变工作態度，並加强防范罪案效率，维护地方安寧。

Glass bottles, twigs, seashells and discarded drink cans strewn on the beach are an eyesore to many.

But for Rosnah Ibrahim, 57, of Kampung Pengkalan Batu here, they are treasures.

Not one who is afraid to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty, Rosnah picks up the items and turns trash into decorative items to earn a living. Her handicrafts are sold as souvenirs.

Rosnah said she was inspired to turn waste into “gold” when she saw the amount of rubbish scattered on the beach.

With RM100, the inspiring entrepreneur purchased glue, string and cans of paint to make her art pieces. “I am earning a steady income as my works can be sold between RM50 and RM200,” she said.

Her artworks are not only popular locally but there is demand for them overseas.

“There is a demand for the bunga telur which I make from coconut husks from other countries,” she said.

Boost for Endau seafood sector

THE RM1.5 million “ikan bakar” food court which takes on the “Rumah Limas” concept will be operational early next year.

The facility, which is expected to change the landscape of Sungai Endau, which borders Johor and Pahang, is currently a work-in- progress and is scheduled to be completed by end of the month.

The project is an initiative of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) and among the facilities available include four kiosks, surau, gazebo, platform and jetty where visitors can buy fresh seafood directly from the fishermen.

Johor Housing and Local Government executive committee chairman Datuk Abdul Latif Bandi said the construction of the food court at the location is appropriate as Endau is popular among those in the fishing and seafood industry.

He said the construction of the food court would boost the local economy by creating new jobs and business opportunities, as well as promoting tourism in Mersing, especially those travelling from Johor to the east coast.

“We also took into consideration the need to protect the river and its environment during the construction process.

“In fact, local fishermen will also benefit by making the jetty the transit centre for river tourism,” said Latif.

Kampung Sungai Padang village head Mohamad Khalid welcomed tourists to the food court once it is ready for operations.

“This will become a hit among tourists, especially those using the Johor Baru-Kuantan route,” he said.

Rawa岛一游。美好的记忆

2天1夜的Rawa岛之旅虽然短，可是真的很轻松很开心尤其是每天工作如牛来到这个美丽的小岛真的真的纯粹分享相片~

从JB乘了2个小时的巴士到了Mersing镇，再走大约10分钟到了Rawa Office...我们是下午2点的船进岛~ （应该是12点吧？！不记得了）
出发咯！！！

半个小时后就到达Rawa岛啦~ 哇。。。好美啊！！！

我们的房间Hillside Standard Room 。

午餐时间yummy yummy~ 

医饱肚子后，就趴趴走咯！

海水很清，沙也白啊~

 

》在沙滩上发呆也是一种幸福

下水玩玩,我不会游泳耶只能到这里。在桥下不晒又可以看到小鱼还可以做大自然的Spa免费的，哈哈哈。。。

除了水上活动，还有其他室内室外的活动，再不然就走走上山 （可是我没有找到上到最顶的路，听闻那里可以看到很美丽的风景）。

假日会贵哦，而且比较难预定。因为假日大家都抢着去！
