柔佛州旅游、商贸与消费人委员会主席拿督郑修强说，柔州政府拨款5万令吉，与马来西亚旅游总会柔州分会合作，推出50个柔州旅游配套，以迎合不同国家旅客的需求。
他说，来自国外及本地的旅客，都对旅游有不同的需求，上述50个旅游配套适合不同要求的旅客，以增加游客对柔州旅游业者的信心。
“马来西亚旅游总会柔州分会将担任这次计划的策略伙伴，大家集思广益，分享经验，同时将能以更专业的方式促进柔州的旅游业。”
他出席马来西亚旅游总会柔州公会新会所开幕典礼后，召开新闻发布会上，作出上述披露。出席者包括马来西亚旅游总会会长拿督陈国良、副会长莫哈末拉基尔、柔州分会主席李慧贞、柔州旅游促进局局长阿都玛烈等。
与此同时，郑修强呼吁，旅游业者需与时并进，并建议该领域的业者能更有系统、专业及专注地推广旅游业。

Navy to rescue stranded tourists on Tioman Island
The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) has been deployed to rescue 93 tourists who have been stranded on Tioman Island for several days following bad weather and rough seas.
A total of 54 foreign tourists and 39 local tourists have been stranded on the island since Jan 11.
Tioman assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohd Johari Hussain said Navy ship KD Terengganu is expected to arrive on the island at 10pm Monday (Jan 15).
"Tomorrow morning (Jan 16) at 7.30am, we can start transferring people from the marina," he told The Star.
Mohd Johari also said seven locals will be allowed to board the ship as they had urgent matters to attend to on the mainland.
The monsoon season in Tioman Island starts from October to March every year.
Mohd Johari also said when the monsoon season starts, the Government constantly reminds people of the situation and the risk that they may face on the island.
"During this period, fewer tourists will visit the island due to the weather but there are those who take the risk to go to Tioman with the hope that they would be able to board the ferry when the weather improves," he said.
He said this time, ferry services remained inoperable for a longer period and as such, tourists and locals were unable to leave the island.

Near-miss incident: The road collapse that occurred at the 16km mark along Jalan Jemaluang-Mersing.
Three people in a car had a scare when they were almost swallowed up by a landslide along Jalan Jemaluang-Mersing.
Part of the road they were travelling on suddenly collapsed early yesterday morning.
Their car plunged into a 15m- deep ravine that suddenly opened up before them at the 16km mark of the road.
Thankfully, nobody was seriously hurt. One of them was sent to the Mersing Hospital with minor injuries.
Mersing OCPD Deputy Supt Cyril Edward Nuing said the man with the minor injury was identified as Swee Ah Peng, 60.
Police, however, have yet to determine the identities of the other two in the 2.30am incident.
DSP Cyril said when police arrived at the scene, the injured man had been sent to the hospital while the others had left for the Senai International Airport.
He advised road users travelling to Johor Baru or Mersing to take the alternative route of Jalan Nitar-Jemaluang here.
State exco member Datuk Ayub Rahmat said Jalan Telok Arong in Mersing was closed due to a landslide while Jalan Johor Baru-Kuantan near the Mersing Industrial Training Institute was also shut to motorists.
Motorists have been advised to use the alternative routes of Jalan Tanjung Resang, Jalan Mersing/Endau and Jalan Air Papan, he said.
Ayub said as at 2.30pm yesterday, there were 289 flood evacuees in six shelters in Segamat, Mersing and Kota Tinggi.

连日大雨，造成三板头(Jemaluang)通往丰盛港16公里路段土崩，一辆轿车坠下，车内华裔男子受伤。
司机为60岁的许亚平（Swee Ah Peng，译音）与乘客没有蒙受重伤，事发后已送往丰盛港医院检查。
丰盛港警区主任 西里尔爱德华指出，警方是于今日凌晨2时30分接获这起土崩投报，目前该路段不适合通行，无论是重型车辆或其他交通工程，该路段已全面封路。
他指出，土崩面积为70公尺宽、15公尺深。
目前往来新山和丰盛港的替代公路是驶入居銮分岔路口（simpang kluuang），经由尼达路（Jalan Nitar）到三板头。

距离上次淹水不过是短短的两个星期，水魔再次来袭，导致低洼地区居民再次迁移至安全地方。
当地于周三（10日）开始，连续4天不曾间断下雨，虽雨势变小，但积水未退却。
连日来，山水往海边涌去，正逢海水涨潮，河道不胜负荷才引起这次水灾。
丰盛港亚逸巴板的其中一间房屋，被困于水中。
丰盛港宏愿花园第二期前面的路段，因为积水太高，当局已限制通行车辆。
据斯理丰盛港花园（Taman Sri Mersing）居民曼（水利灌溉局职员）透露，今日凌晨3时30分左右他回到家，路面未见积水。
“当我梳洗完毕，凌晨4时许，水已涌上路面。在早上7时30分左右，水已高达一尺，在多一寸水就涌进屋内。”
在亚逸巴板村（Air Papan），几乎所有的低洼地区沦陷，疏散中心于前晚开始运作，一度收容约45户家庭共162人。
截至今早10时许，丰盛港共有6个疏散中心运作，收容158户家庭共602人。
一些小孩在积水地方嬉水。

Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar visited flood victims in Mersing, the state’s worst-hit district so far.
The Ruler, who was accompanied by State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani, spent more than an hour with the victims at SK Mersing Kanan and SK Air Papan yesterday.
Both schools are housing at least 430 flood victims from nearby villages.
Sultan Ibrahim was also given a briefing on the latest flood situation in the district.
Meanwhile, continuous rainfall over the past few days has worsened the situation and forced 1,374 people to evacuate in three districts.
State Health, Environment, Education and Information Committee chairman Datuk Ayob Rahmat said the worst-hit districts were Mersing (1,239 victims), Segamat (103) and Kota Tinggi (32).
The victims are staying in 13 evacuation centres.
Ayob said there were road diversions in Mersing due to a landslip along Jalan Telok Arong.
Floodwaters have also cut off access to Kg Batu 7 in Jementah.
“Three schools affected by floodwaters are SK Punan, SK Ladang Mutiara and SK Seri Sedohok,” he said, adding that they were all in Kluang.

Heavy rain expected to hit several states
Heavy rain is expected to continue in several areas in Johor, Pahang, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Terengganu and Sarawak until today.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a severe weather warning for several areas in Johor and Pahang.
“Heavy rain is expected to continue in Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kota Tinggi, Johor Baru and Kulai) and Pahang (Rompin, Pekan and Kuantan) today,” it said in a statement.
The department has also issued a weather warning alert for Negri Sembilan, Melaka, several areas in Johor including Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat and Pontian, and several areas in Pahang including Bentong, Temerloh, Maran, Bera and Jerantut.

柔州旅游、商贸及消费人事务委员会主席拿督郑修强指出，州政府鉴定在丰盛港丹绒乐曼（Tanjung Leman）占地1000英亩的海岸线发展，是一项旅游综合发展计划。
至于是什么旅游综合发展计划，郑修强坦言，目前还不晓得，主要目前该项发展计划，还处于初步的基础研究阶段。
他于昨日第十三届第五季第三次柔州立法议会时，在柔州议会媒体室向记者说，上述计划是一项大型发展计划（Mega Projects），并预计会吸引国内外财团进驻投资。
他也说，政府也提供各种税务奖掖，以便吸引外资进驻投资，包括提供企业豁免10年收入税、豁免5年投资税、豁免印花税等。
他解释，企业豁免5年投资税，不是从企业进驻开始计算，而是投入营运的当下才开始算起。
此外，他说，目前，丰盛港的度假屋和别墅是不足的，还有很大的发展空间。

他今日发文告说，这是阴冷天气、连续降雨和东北季候风所带来的冷风所致。

此外，阿鲁依驳斥社交媒体流传，指我国因面对来自菲律宾的季候风变化，导致西马地区不断下雨及面临降温情况属不实传言。
另外，据马来报章《每日新闻》报导，国立大学气候和海洋学教授费多林指出，我国面对摄氏21度的冷天气，是基于西伯利亚-蒙古高压空气加强，北方寒冷的天气从中国北方被带入南中国海，随后再由东北季候风吹入我国所造成的。

A 40-year-old civil servant was killed and his son was injured in an accident involving two vehicles at KM8 Jalan Jemaluang-Mersing here.

Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Laham said initial investigations revealed that the victim was taking his seven-year-old son to school at SK Sri Mersing when the accident occurred.
"A lorry veered from the opposite lane before ramming into the victim's car," he said in a statement.
"The 34-year-old lorry driver was unhurt and checks revealed that the vehicle had been issued with 19 summons for speeding," he said, adding that the lorry driver himself had two previous summonses for various traffic offences.
ACP Mohamad Laham said that the lorry driver, who is from Terengganu, had been detained and the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless driving.

丰盛港巴士走入历史 加亨居民较不方便
丰盛港巴士有限公司旗下的巴士，计划出售给有兴趣购买的公众。
丰盛港巴士有限公司成立于1946年；巴士停驶后，巴士票成为乘客珍贵的回忆。
具有71年历史的丰盛港巴士有限公司（Mersing Omnibus）于本月1日宣布休业后，从此走入历史，这对居銮民众的影响层面不大，因为多数人已有交通工具。
该巴士公司在休业前，巴士于每日上午8时30分至下午5时服务，乘客以外劳和学生居多，本地乘客则多数是文双花园居民。
据了解，影响较大的是加亨居民，造成他们没有公共交通到居銮巴士总站，转搭前往吉隆坡和新山等地的长途巴士，以及一些每天往来加亨和市区学校的学生。
丰盛港巴士没有冷气，乘客量已大幅度减少。
銮中5学生受影响
加亨村长黄福强接受《中国报》访问说，没有公共巴士服务后，居民就没有公共交通到居銮巴士总站，转搭长途巴士到新山或新加坡工作，只能选择乘德士，带来不便。
他说，村内就读居銮中华中学的学生，在巴士停驶后也受影响，一些学生因此申请入住学校宿舍或外宿。
甘榜巴野村长陈秀萍（48岁）则说，多数村民都有自己的交通工具，对巴士的依赖性不高。
她说，家境经济状况欠佳的村民也有摩哆或脚车代步，没有丰盛港巴士的服务，影响不大。

另一方面，居銮中华中学校长廖伟强说，只有5名学生在交通上受影响，但学生家长达成共识，每天轮流载送学生，学生都没有申请入住宿舍。
他披露，一些加亨学生的家长在居銮购买房产，已搬到居銮居住，没有公共巴士服务，对他们影响不大。
丰盛港巴士从巴士总站出发，途经整条丰盛港路，包括经过甘榜巴野及附近的花园住宅边缘、文双花园、佳雅新村、居銮监狱等，也路经多所国中和国小。
嘉亚：无法避免的外在因素，造成公司终止营业。
5大原因 选择结业
昂贵维修费、乘客数量骤减、司机难聘、汽油价格起伏不定与陆路公共交通委员会（SPAD）补助金减少，是造成丰盛港巴士有限公司选择结束营业的原因。
在公司服务48年的经理嘉亚接受《中国报》访问时说，巴士停驶的主因是收入减少60%左右，若强行营运下去，对公司和乘客来说都没有意义。
他说，2016年11月的载客量为3万8336人，2017年11月的载客量只有2万326人，骤减47%，导致公司面临亏损。
嘉亚强调，公司正在处理遣散费事宜，行政工作将持续到本月31日，因此应该不会重新营业。
他披露，停放巴士的地方会租出去作为商业用途，旧巴士则会出售给有兴趣购买的公众。
阿都拉扎在丰盛港巴士有限公司服务32年。
行政主管:暂时失业
“虽然在丰盛港巴士有限公司工作的收入不多，却是我生命中做过最有意义的工作”。
在公司服务32年的阿都拉扎（52岁）在公司结束营运后，令他暂时失业，不过他却难忘在丰盛港巴士公司服务的日子。
他说，在公司的收入只有千多令吉，但却足以让他成家立室，拥有车子和房子，公司也从没拖欠他的薪水。
他说，1986年在该公司担任监票员，在8年前获得提拔升为主管，处理司机和巴士行驶时间表的行政工作。
他透露，有其他巴士公司会设立通往丰盛港的巴士，届时，或会到该巴士公司工作。

现在的人们普遍上都有自己的交通工具，如果只是短途路程，我相信就算去丰盛港，多数市民还是会选择自己驾车。

我没有自己的交通工具，要去丰盛港路4英里，都会乘搭丰盛港巴士前往。
没有巴士服务后，我就需要搭德士，交通费用也提高不少，对我而言是负担。
朋友家长轮流接送
李莛卉（16岁，銮中高一学生）
我以前是每天搭乘丰盛港巴士来回加亨和学校，现在则是每日由自己和朋友的家长，轮流接送。
我暂时不会考虑申请入住宿舍，除非每天来回的交通发生问题。
丰盛港巴士有限公司在服务71年后，于本月1日起休业。这辆丰盛港巴士已有28年车龄。
在居銮巴士总站的丰盛港巴士有限公司柜台招牌已拆下，员工也遣散。
S＆S巴士公司有提供去丰盛港快车的服务，但是时间不定。
从居銮通往亚依淡和峇株巴辖的旧式无冷气巴士仍在运作。
